Mike Macharia is the Founder and Group Chief Visionary officer at Ponea Health, a healthcare aggregator delivering medical services through technology platforms via licensed, vetted and accredited health providers.
He is a serial entrepreneur, having founded one of Kenya’s leading IT services firms, Seven Seas Technologies, at the precocious age of 25, which he steered as CEO into a leading IT and healthcare services firm through innovation, vision, commitment and passion.
Mike is a qualified accountant with over two decades experience in entrepreneurship, a former Chairman of the Kenya Information Technology & Outsourcing Society (KITOS), Chairman of the ICT Sector Committee for the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) as well as the SME Scale-Up initiative.
Mike is a founding board member and Vice Chairman of Endeavor Kenya, a subsidiary to Endeavour Global, which leads a worldwide movement in support of high-impact entrepreneurship.
He is also a WEF 2014 – Young Global Leader and Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Kenya member.
Mike was a founding board member and Vice Chair of Endeavor Kenya.
